UMAYYAH BINTI QOIS AL GHIFARIYAH, sang perwat di medan perang
Sebuah kalung dihadiahkan Rasulullah SAW atas keberanian Umayyah binti Qais al-Ghiffariah turun ke medan Perang Khaibar. Meski seorang perempuan, keberanian Umayyah untuk membela agama Allah SWT sungguh luar biasa. Ia membela agama Allah sesuai dengan kemampuannya.
Wanita pemberani itu turun ke medan perang untuk membantu dan merawat para sahabat yang terluka. Kalung yang disematkan Rasulullah SAW di leher Umayyah, merupakan tanda kekaguman atas pengorbanan dan keberanian sang perawat mujahidah.
Umayyah berasal dari suku Ghiffar, keturunan Abu Dzar al-Ghiffari.
